Product Information • Much like Stainless Steel Studios' first game, Empire Earth, Empires: Dawn of the Modern World is a 3D strategy title in which players must lead a civilization to global domination. The game takes place from 950 AD to 1950 AD, which includes the Middle Ages, Gunpowder Age, Imperial Age, World War I, and World War II. Nations available for play include the French, Germans, United States, Koreans, Chinese, British, and Russians. Each nation has its own strengths and weaknesses; the Germans have significant air power while the Chinese make excellent use of gunpowder.

Historically accurate units are available in each age, from plague-carrying cow carcasses thrown by catapult to the German V2 rocket. The number and variety of units increases as each game progresses, allowing nations to do battle on land, at sea, and in the air. Single-player games offer random maps against up to seven computer opponents and a campaign mode.

There are three campaigns, each featuring one of the greatest military leaders in history: General Patton, Richard the Lionheart, and Admiral Yi. Empires' multiplayer component allows for up to eight players to fight together or against one another online. Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (PC Games) This game was a blast! I have beaten the General Patton and the richard Lionheart campaige.

I am almost done with the korean campaine. I like how you can build stuff with the citizens and how you get to make your own army if you are playing on scenerio.

I like how you can face like seven other teams and not just one. And that you can can have a truce with someone and you can team up. The campaines were hard at first because i didn't know how to play, but after a while, I was getting the hang of it and then it was easy. One thing that i wished was that the battle ground was larger. All the resources would be collected and there would be no more resources, so you have all these citizens standing around. It was an execellent game to play!

Empires DMW is great!!!! This game is a blast! But if you are only playing single player than half of the fun is missing. To get the full experience of this game you need to play online. The campains are O.K.

Borotsya iz-za deneg, platit kolossalnie summi i za eto poluchat odni lish nepriyatnosti, kak so storoni tex, komu daesh eti dengi, tak i so storoni vsex nedovolnix vixodkami zhurnala, nesti na sebe dvoynuyu otvetstvennost -- vse eto privelo menya, nakonec, k soznaniyu, chto ya deystvitelno vzyalas ne za svoe delo. V to vremya on bil eshche uchenikom realnoy gimnazii, no nikogda v forme ya ego ne vidal, a nosil on vsegda polotnyanuyu, chistenkuyu polosatuyu bluzu, kogda zhe on uxodil za pokupkami na Oxtu, to vmesto formennoy furazhki napyalival cvetnuyu, zhokeyskuyu shapochku s kozirkom, i togda on mne kazalsya udivitelno xoroshenkim. Za proshedshie bolee desyati let izmenilos' mnogoe. Prezhde vsego - v mo£m soznanii. Raboty Fomenko i Nosovskogo i drugih vydayushchihsya russkih uch£nyh proyasnili kartinu istorii, kotoruyu ya ne mog ponyat' s detstva (ya ne vru, togda uzhe mne byla ne ponyatna strannaya nelogichnost' istorii, kotoruyu prepodnosili v shkole). Dnevnik nablyudeniya za trudnim uchenikom obrazec.

If you like small battles of eight or nine guys. Online I have gotten wars of upto 600+ units vs 600+ units.

If you dont want to play online at least try random map and odnt judge it on its Scenarios, cause those arent the best. This game is more fun than any other 'empires building' game I have played, and thats saying alot!
